Abstract

The aim of this research was providing a conceptual model model for mentoring for sports teachers. Research Methods was selected Qualitative type with systematic exploratory approach. The statistical population consisted of two parts: experts (professors, managers, etc.) and information resources (books, articles, documents, media, etc.). Sampling was performed in sufficient numbers (theoretical saturation) and by judging method (18 people). The research tools included systematic library study and structured exploratory interviews. The validity of the instrument was evaluated and approved based on the legal validity of the sample, the opinion of the experts and the agreement between the proofreaders. To analyze the findings, multi-stage conceptual coding method with system analysis approach was used. The extracted conceptual framework included 6 levels, 13 perspectives (main variable), 32 dimensions and 109 key components (repetition of themes). The six levels of the conceptual model are sequentially influential processes Was Included levels; The premise of mentoring assumptions in sports education occupations was physical education training capacities for mentoring, laying the groundwork for mentoring implementation, participation of roles in mentoring, mentoring implementation strategy and mentoring achievements for sports teachers. Based on the results, it can be said that the mentoring system of physical education teachers is a systematic and multidimensional process that integrates the related environmental, organizational and individual dimensions in a strategic process to achieve the desired and possible goals. The proposed model can be used in the analysis and planning of mentoring implementation for physical education teachers and sports teachers.
