The purpose of present study was to identify components and indicators for evaluation of general physical training teachers. Subjects were all students of Isfahan University (N=12567) from which sample size was calculated as 375 based on Krejcie and Morgan table and subjects were selected randomly based on their sexuality. For data collection, a researcher-made questionnaire, by library studying and using comments of 5 sport management teachers using Delphi method, was utilized. Face and content validity of questionnaire were confirmed by elite’s comments and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach’s alpha test. For analyzing data from questionnaires, Bartlett test and second time confirmatory factor analysis were used. Findings from factor analysis confirmed the desired value of model and finally the model for evaluation of general physical training teachers including 34 indicators and 5 components, teaching skills (14 indicators), communication skills (5 indicators), personal skills (4 indicators), educational rules and basics (4 indicators), and supervising and evaluation (7 indicators) was designed. The final model and its indicators and components can be used as a comprehensive valid, reliable, student-oriented tool for evaluation of general physical training teachers` performance in universities.

The purpose of this study was to determine the construct validity and internal consistency of Persian version of Coach- Athlete Relationship questionnaire among university athletes. To this end, one hundred ninety male athletes participating in different individual and team sport in 12th national sport Olympiad of university students held in Shahid Beheshty University completed the questionnaires voluntarily. To perform this research, firstly, with the use of translation-back translation methods, face validity and translation accuracy of Persian version of Coach- Athlete Relationship questionnaire were confirmed. Then, the Confirmatory factor analysis based on structural equations model and Cronbach Alpha coefficient were used to determine the construct validity and internal consistency of questionnaire. Results show that in first order confirmatory factor analysis of Persian version of questionnaire, fit indexes do not support the appropriateness of 3 factors -11 items model of original version, whereas by omitting 6th item, first and second order confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach Alpha coefficients supported the 3 factor-10 items- structure of Coach/Athlete Relationship Questionnaire in community of university sports and confirm its validity and reliability. Therefore, it is proposed that for evaluating coach and athlete relationship in academia, modified Persian version of coach- athlete relationship be used.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of self-regulation and Meta cognition beliefs on sporting success of elite, expert and beginner athletes. Statistical society consisted of 22 athletes of 8 sport fields in Tehran. In order to collect data, we used demographic, self-regulation, Meta cognition beliefs & sporting success questionnaires. Data analyzed with person correlation and multiple regression. The results of Pearson correlation showed that there is a significant positive correlation between sporting success with sports self-regulation (r=0.27) and Meta cognition beliefs (r=0.83) for elite athletes (P<0.05). The correlation of expert and novice athletes for sporting success & Meta cognition beliefs was r=0.74 and r=0.73 in P<0.05 significant. Variable impact factors of meta cognition beliefs (B=0.77 and t=14.12) and sporting self-regulation (B=0.09 and t=2.06) show that meta cognition beliefs variable with 99.9% confidence and self-regulation of sports with 99.95 percent can confidently predict sporting success in elite athletes Variable impact factors of meta cognition beliefs (B=0.07, t=1.91) and sporting self-regulation (B=0.056 & t=11.51) show that meta cognition beliefs variable with 99.5% confidence and sporting self-regulation with 99% confidence can successfully predict expert athletics. Variable impact factors of Meta cognition beliefs (B=0.67 & t=9.64) show that Meta cognition beliefs with 99.9% confidence can predict beginner athletic success. Therefore, it can be concluded that increasing the Meta cognition beliefs and self-regulation of sport will be cause expert athletic success. But self-regulation in beginner athletic is not able to predict the sporting success.

The purpose of this research was prediction Stages of Exercise Behavior Change based of Decisional Balance and self-efficacy in students. Exercise Behavior Change include five stages: Precontemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action and Maintenance. The number of 292 male and female students in Shahid Beheshti University were selected. Then, they completed Stages of Exercise Behavior Change (SEBC) (Cardinal, 1997, self-efficacy (Schwartz, 1999) and Decisional Balance (Plotnikoff, 2001) questionnaires. Multiple Discriminates Analysis showed that 83.2 percent of the variance of the SEBC is explained by decisional balance and self-efficacy. These variables make up a significant predictor model (P=0.02). Based on these results, Decisional balance and self-efficacy variables have main role in the differentiation of 5 clusters (SEBC). The results show awareness has crucial role in perception advantages and disadvantages of practice; this role emphasizes on the positive training experience.
