The aim of this study was to examine the barriers and facilitators from the perspective of parents regarding the sports participation of children with disabilities. The present study was qualitative in nature, with research data collected using semi-structured interviews with 15 parents and experts. The number of interviewees continued until theoretical saturation, and thematic analysis and coding were conducted in three stages. Data analysis led to the identification of themes of social attitudes, financial constraints, structural inefficiency, institutional dysfunction, access, parent and child behavioral challenges, coach-centeredness, psychosocial development, facilitation, advocacy, and motivators of sports participation of children with disabilities. It seems that parents face psychological and time pressure, but successful experiences increase motivation. Supportive policies, coach training, and inclusive programs are necessary to increase participation. Ultimately, sports participation of children with disabilities is a multidimensional phenomenon that is influenced by the complex interaction of individual, family, institutional, and social factors, and the examination and action of each family requires multiple consultations and supports. مشارکت ورزشی کودکان دارای معلولیت تحت تأثیر موانع چندلایه قرار دارند و والدین نقش کلیدی به‌عنوان دروازه‌بانان ایفا می‌کنند. هدف این تحقیق بررسی موانع و تسهیل‌کننده‌ها از نگاه والدین در خصوص مشارکت ورزشی معلولان بود. تحقیق حاضر به صورت کیفی بود که داده های تحقیق با استفاده از مصاحبه های نیمه ساختار یافته با 15 نفر از والدین و کارشناسان صورت گرفت. تعداد مصاحبه شوندگان تا حد اشباع نظری نظری ادامه یافت و تحلیل مضمون و کدگذاری در سه مرحله صورت گرفت. تحلیل داده‌ها به شناسایی مضامین نگرش‌های اجتماعی، محدودیت‌های مالی، ناکارآمدی ساختاری، کژکارکردی نهادی، دسترسی، چالش های رفتاری والد و کودک، مربی محوری، تحول روانی اجتماعی، تسهیل گری، حمایت‌گری و محرک های مشارکت ورزش معلولان منجر شد. بنظر می‌رسد والدین با فشار روانی و زمانی مواجه‌اند، اما تجربیات موفق انگیزه را افزایش می‌دهد. سیاست‌های حمایتی، آموزش مربیان و برنامه‌های فراگیر ضروری است تا مشارکت افزایش یابد. در نهایت مشارکت ورزشی کودکان دارای معلولیت پدیده‌ای چندبعدی است که تحت تأثیر تعامل پیچیده عوامل فردی، خانوادگی، نهادی و اجتماعی قرار دارد که بررسی و اقدام هر خانواده نیازمند مشاوره و حمایت های متعددی است.
