Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a mental health pattern for athletes participating in educational sport. In this research, exploratory blended research Plans were also used. The statistical population of the study consisted of all athletes participating in sport education in schools and universities in Mashhad. In the qualitative part of the research, the participants included 14 specialists. In this research, were used interviews and a questionnaire for collect information. in the first part of the study, a semi-structured interview was used and in the second part, the data from the qualitative research were prepared in the form of a tool (questionnaire). In order to analyze the research data, Structural Equation Method was used using PLS software. The results of the research showed that the components of the welfare of growth (development), political welfare, physical well-being, social well-being, work welfare (job), psychological well-being, spiritual well-being (meaning) and emotional well-being (Positive and negative affection) is one of the most important indicators of mental health of athletes participating in exercise education. Regarding the results of this study, it has been shown that educational exercise plays an important role in improving the mental health of individuals, especially in the well-being of growth. Therefore, planning to improve the level of participation of people in exercise education is well understood to improve mental health.
