Abstract

The institutionalization of sport for all in society reflects the sustainable development of the country in various cultural, social, economic, political, technological and environmental aspects. The purpose of this study was to identification of key and strategic factors of excellence for the desirable future of Sport for all in Iran. The present study has a postmodern paradigm and a mixed (qualitative-quantitative) research approach and participant selection method is targeted and snowballed. In the analysis of the research, by analyzing the content of 20 in-depth interviews, 174 open source codes were aggregated and categorized into 53 indices. The indices were distributed among 10 experts using a Delphi technique and after three rounds Delphi interview and group agreement identified 36 effective factors of sport for all. Then, the factors extracted by cross impact analysis and using the micmac software were evaluated by 8 participants in the Strategic Research Council and finally the results were reported. Identification of 13 key and strategic factors has been identified. With the foresight around the identified factors, the tendency towards the desirable future of sport for all in Iran will increase, and the formulation of desirable strategies around these factors will ensure the achievement of the excellence and desirability of sport for all in institutionalizing this issue in the country.
