Abstract

Many researches have been done in the field of school sports. The aim of this research was to systematically review the studies of school sports scope in Iran and review these researches from 2017 to 2023. The research method in terms of purpose was practicality and secondary studies with a systematic review approach. Research population was all published Articles related to the scope of school sports (N=383) that published in domestic scientific-research journals from 2017 and 2023, which were extracted from databases. The articles were reviewed based on the general dimensions of cognitive, structural, functional, and citation status. By reviewing the articles, disciplinary trends of sport management, behavior and biomechanics, psychology, sport pathology and corrective exercises, physiology and sports medicine were determined that were related to the fields of sports science and physical education of the Ministry of Science. Also, interdisciplinary trends of management-psychology,behavior-psychology,management-behavior,management-physiology were found. The results of the research showed that the process of publishing the reviewed articles had a sinusoidal trend and most of the articles were published in "Research in Educational Sports(N=67). Of these articles, approximately 55% of them were published in specialized sports publications and approximately 45% of them were published in non-sports publications.
