Content Analysis of physical education and student sport researches in Iran

Abstract
Purpose of the research was content analysis of physical education and student sport researches in Iran. This was mixed method based on content analysis to evaluate content of the articles. The statistical sample is the whole number and includes articles published in Iran up to the end of 2017, (N= 843papers). The majority of the researches were published in the journal of growth and motor learning in the Tehran University (87 papers). The main topic of researches is in the fields of sport management: Organizational Behavior of Physical education teachers & Students; Psychology: motivation, students' self-esteem; Motor behavior: motor learning and perceptual-motor function; Physiology: science Exercise, Nutrition, Composition; Sport Medicine: rehabilitation and correction of abnormalities. In the 55% of the researches, the semi- experimental method was used; and 97% of them had a practical purpose, & the group of students with 62% of the dominant analysis level. 72% studies were conducted on students. 98.5% of researches used cross-sectional data, 55.5% with the research protocol tool. Longitudinal data were not used. 15% of researches were conducted in the Tehran and 10% nationally. 70.5% were published by three authors. 55% of the researches had, at least, one female author. Research trend has grown substantially since 2011.Therefore, it is expected that these researches, in addition to identification of existing and past problems and limitations, direct a future approach aiming at discovering opportunities and orientation of administrative & headquarter employees toward health, the creation of cultural, educational & moral values in student sport.
