Abstract

The purpose of this research was providing and validate the strategic model of managing students' sports talents. The method of the present research is applied in terms of purpose and modeling type, which was carried out in the field method. The research tool is a researcher-made questionnaire of 49questions with 9 variables, and its content and form validity were evaluated by sports management professors and their opinions were edited. The final questionnaire was considered. The reliability of the questionnaire was also calculated based on Cronbach's alpha. The statistical population of the research included all the teachers of formal and formal physical education courses working in the Ministry of Education of Iran and the statistical sample was 254of these people based on purposeful sampling among the physical education teachers of four provinces of the country were chosen. SPSS and LISREL software were used for data analysis. The data were analyzed using the exploratory factor analysis, first-order confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. According to the findings, the results of the confirmatory factor analysis supported the validity of the final model of the management of sports talents of Iranian students, and the results indicated the approval of the model. Therefore, the proposed model has good validity. Based on the results of the research, the senior officials of the Ministry of Education should provide efficient and effective human resources for the future of the country's sports by implementing the model of managing students' sports talent on a large scale in the country.
