Abstract

Educational sport is considered as one of the fields that play a role in the education of the young generation. The purpose of this research was to identify the key drivers of educational sports in Iraq in the horizon of 2033. The current research, from the point of the basics, interpretivism; From the point of the research approach, it was inductive and from the point of nature, it was Mixed method. The statistical population of the research was the beneficiaries of educational sports in Iraq (University professors, Teachers, Collegians and Students), from whom 20 people were purposefully selected as a statistical sample. Interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data, Lincoln and Guba (1985) criteria were used to its audit, and structural analysis method was used for data analysis. The results of the research showed that 71 influential factors shape the educational sports environment of Iraq in the horizon of 2033, among which 16 factors have great importance and uncertainty. Also, the key drivers of educational sports in Iraq in the horizon of 2033, the five drivers with the highest score in terms of uncertainty and importance include: 1. The economic growth rate of Iraq, 2. The direction of domestic politics, 3. The penetration rate of technology, 4. The lifestyle of citizens and 5. The state of environmental discourse. As a result, it is necessary to consider their situation in the design of educational sports programs and measures in Iraq.
