In today's educational landscape, teachers must not only possess the necessary scientific and practical skills but also demonstrate the ability to generate innovative ideas in their teaching processes. This study aims to design a model for training innovative student-teachers in physical education, providing a foundation for the advancement of modern educational methods. The research adopts a qualitative approach using thematic analysis. The study population consists of faculty members in the field of physical education at Farhangian University. Given the nature and methodology of the research, the sample size was determined based on theoretical saturation. Ultimately, through a snowball sampling approach, 12 participants were selected. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, and the thematic analysis was conducted using Braun and Clarke’s (2006) six-phase model. This process led to the identification of 53 initial codes, 9 sub-themes, and 4 main themes: factors related to student-teachers, faculty members, university facilities and resources, and managerial aspects. The findings indicate that fostering innovation among student-teachers in physical education requires a comprehensive perspective encompassing individual, educational, and managerial dimensions. By creating sound and comprehensive policies in this area, we can provide a platform for student teachers to be creative, innovative thinkers.
